Her sister had been busy dealing with tribe stuff so Rei had no trouble sneaking out, she smiled when she got to the city, she had been doing this a lot and was pretty use to it now, she loved humans, they were fun to watch, some where really amusing... She found Players a few weeks ago and had been a regular there, she had been allowed in, she didn't drink anything with alcohol, so Mitch didn't mind her there, seeing as she didn't cause any trouble, and she looked like she was new to the area, in away she was, she found her usual spot in the corner away from everyone, and just sat there with her drink, watching people dance and listening to them, with her good hearing she could hear most of the conversations pretty easily...

Rei: It's so exciting here, humans are so full of life, they enjoy everything and seem to worry about nothing... Unlike home. we're always having to be on guard, to wait to fight... There is no enjoyment of life.

She said as she was thinking about it, she was young, and was wanting to see life.  She had found out about this place when Tera had been captured a bit, she had always talked about the humans, and that hotel she lived at.

Rei: Even that hotel, tera was always talking about, I've gone there... It's beautiful, its' everything she said and more.

Reese walked past the two hiding in the woods making love and smiled. He was still a bit surprised to see it so open here. Especially since he was there to hide from his wife.

He grinned when he saw the young woman waiting at her hut for him. He followed her inside then kissed her softly.

"Nobody saw me. And my wife thinks that I'm out of town for a meeting today."

He followed her to the bedroom and grinned as he undressed tossing his clothes onto the chair.

A couple hours later, he kissed her before slipping of bed and getting dressed.

He made it back to his car and was on his way back to the office when his phone rang. He hit the button putting it on speaker phone.

"Hello, darling. I'm just heading back into town. I'll be at the office in fifteen minutes."

Destiny hadn't been happy that he had to go out of town last minute, she had made sure she had time for him, and it had been the weekend he decided to go away so she was now at work.

He went to the house and took a quick shower and changed into comfortable clothes instead of his suit. He called the office and told Ethan that he was taking the rest of the day off to spend time with his wife.

He headed to Hell's Kitchen and ordered Destiny's favorite meal and something for himself.

He smiled as he walked into the police station. He tapped on her office door and stuck his head in.

"Hi, Beautiful."

  Instead of heading home, Reese wanted to make sure Destiny was alright, knowing where she always went when she was upset.  By the time he was walking on the porch the storm was too bad to leave, so he knew that he at least wouldn't be forced out, as he took his own key to the place unlocking the door, he walked in quietly looking around, as he saw Destiny sleeping on the couch.

  She just nodded as she left the room, it hurt way to much to be there with him, thinking about what he had done, it broke her heart, she had loved and trusted him, thought he was the one thing in her life that was a sure thing, but she had been wrong there, she felt tears as she just locked herself in the bathroom, trying to keep herself together as she ran the water washing her face a bit..

He heard her in the bathroom crying and knew that he was the reason for it. He had never wanted to hurt her.

He put his hand on the bathroom door.

"I'm sorry, Destiny. I truly am."

He turned and left. He wasn't going to stay and hurt her more.

He got part way down the dirt road and saw the road was washed away from the storm that was still raging. He parked the car there in the road and got out and started walking.

  It was a few hours later when Destiny got a call from Hope saying she had found and picked up Reese, she didn't say anything to her about what was gong on, just told Hope to take him home..

She said simply..

She said as she let him out and then took off letting him think about what she said.
